Restore and Meditate a special restorative and meditation practice with Dalal Harb.
This workshop evolved from a desire to explore the possible synergistic effects of pairing meditation and restorative together. Restorative Yoga has the ability to leave your body nourished and well rested. Meditation helps you experience a quieter mind and a more focused mental activity.
Restore and Meditate is the perfect way to balance a strong yoga practice such as the Mysore Ashtangis who practice daily, as well as for those with injuries, stress, senior people or people who just need gentle yoga.
In this workshop, we begin with restorative poses, during which students are guided into relaxation. This is followed by a seated meditation, after which we take more restorative poses. The workshop uses props available at the studio to help students adapt to the postures, respecting their physical limits and abilities.
