Kundalini yoga is an age-old practice that promotes well-being, happiness and spiritual awareness. It combines postures and movement, breathing techniques, mantra and meditation into powerful sets that automatically guide the energies of the body and the mind to a specific result or change of consciousness.
About Kamel: Born and raised in London, Kamel’s background has been primarily in finance and investment management. Relentless business travel and the associated stress led him to begin practicing different forms of yoga in 2014. He came across Kundalini Yoga almost by accident, and was immediately drawn to the teachings, which have had a profound impact on his approach to life. He was inspired to begin the teacher training programme with Karam Kriya School in London, initially just to further his knowledge of yogic philosophy and science. Along the way he found his voice as a teacher, and is now a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor. He still works full-time in investment management, and teaches whenever possible. His classes are uplifting and insightful, providing the space for deeper self-awareness.
