Ashtanga Yoga Workshops w/Olivier

Workshop # 1 on January 28th

ASHTANGA BASICS:

In this workshop we will be covering the history of the mysore practice, the concept of mindful movement with Tristhana, and the breakdown of surya namaskara, standing postures and vinyasa.

Workshop # 2 on February 25th

CORE ASHTANGA PRIMARY POSTURES:

In this workshop we’ll be going over the different core postures of the primary series, the reason for the order of the sequence as well as the more advanced vinyasas of the primary series.

Workshop # 3 on March 25th

BACKBENDING & HEALTHY HIP OPENING:

In this workshop we’ll be working on technique for a controlled and healthy back bend and drop backs. We will also breakdown healthy internal and external hip rotation for lotus and other hip movements in the practice.
